All plain breads are made with organic flour (including Artisan, Sandwich, J&C, and others), while Country Wilds and Wholemeal are not.
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from Legit Sourdough & More (“we”, “us”, “our”), a food business based in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, England. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms in full.
Our products are handcrafted, artisan sourdough bread and related baked goods, produced in small batches and baked twice weekly — on Wednesdays and Fridays.

2. Definitions
“Customer” means any person placing an order through our website.
“Products” means the artisan sourdough bread and baked goods available for purchase.
“Collection” means the in-person pickup of an order at one of our designated collection locations.
“Bake Day” means Wednesday or Friday, the days on which our products are freshly baked.
3. Ordering
3.1 Order Placement
Orders must be placed through our website at legitsourdoughandmore.co.uk. By submitting an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products subject to these Terms.
3.2 Order Confirmation
A contract between you and us is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if a product is unavailable or if a payment is not successfully processed.
3.3 Order Cut-Off Times
Due to the nature of fresh, handcrafted baking, orders are subject to cut-off deadlines:
Wednesday Bake Day: Orders must be placed by Sunday 6:00 pm of the same week.
Friday Bake Day: Orders must be placed by Wednesday 6:00 pm of the same week.
Orders placed after the cut-off time will be allocated to the next available Bake Day. We cannot guarantee fulfilment of orders placed outside these windows for the requested date.
3.4 Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. As our goods are handcrafted in small batches, we cannot always guarantee that all items listed on the website will be available. We will notify you as soon as possible if a product you have ordered is unavailable and offer a suitable alternative or a full refund.
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time of placing your order.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Pay on Collection (Pay in Person): Payment is made in cash or by card at the point of collection. This option is available for all collection locations.
Online Payment via Stripe: Secure card payment processed in advance through Stripe. Payment is taken at the time of placing your order.
4.3 Payment Security
Online payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI DSS-compliant payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our systems.
4.4 Failed Payments
If your online payment fails or is declined, your order will not be confirmed. Please contact us or retry with an alternative payment method.

5.2 Collection Options
At checkout, you may choose:
Next available collection — your order will be allocated to the next available Bake Day based on the current cut-off schedule.
Schedule a collection date — you may select a specific upcoming Wednesday or Friday for collection, subject to availability.
5.3 Missed Collection
If you do not collect your order on the agreed date, we are not obligated to hold the product. As our goods are fresh and perishable, uncollected orders will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to re-sell or re-allocate the item. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to collect.
5.4 We Do Not Offer Delivery
At present, all orders must be collected in person. We do not offer postal or courier delivery services.
6. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Perishable Goods — No Right of Return
Our products are fresh, perishable food items baked to order. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day cancellation right does not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, which includes fresh bread and baked goods.
Accordingly, we do not accept returns of food products once collected, and we are not obligated to offer refunds on the basis of a change of mind.
6.2 Cancellation Before Bake Day
If you wish to cancel your order, you must do so before the relevant cut-off time for your Bake Day.
Cancellation requests received before the cut-off time will be eligible for a full refund. To cancel, please contact us via the website as soon as possible.
6.3 Cancellations After Cut-Off
If you cancel after the cut-off time, we may have already begun preparing your order. In such cases, we reserve the right to retain payment in full, as the goods will have been made specifically for your order.
6.4 Faulty or Incorrect Products
Notwithstanding the above, you retain your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If a product is:
Not of satisfactory quality,
Not as described,
Unfit for purpose,
you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a replacement, partial refund or full refund depending on the circumstances. Please contact us within a reasonable time of collection (ideally on the same day) with details and, where possible, a photograph of the issue.
6.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds for online (Stripe) payments will be processed within 14 days to the original payment method. Refunds for Pay on Collection orders will be made by bank transfer or cash as agreed.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos and branding, is the property of Legit Sourdough & More or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from our website without our prior written consent.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
We process your personal data (name, email address, contact number, collection details) in order to fulfil your order and communicate with you about it. We process this data on the lawful basis of contractual necessity.
Your data will not be sold to third parties. It may be shared with Stripe for payment processing purposes.

You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products.
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that order.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our website or placing an order after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
